Barnabys has recently won best regional restaurant at the prestigious FATE awards at the Europa hotel.
Barnabys Royal Wedding Celebrations and Royal Variety Performance
Barnabys celebrated the Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in style by holding an Olde time dance during the day showing the wedding on big screens and then on the evening of the wedding they hosted a very unique royal variety performance with special guests Gene Fitzpatrick and Pink tribute act and brilliant James Peake experience band.
Dalriada Festival
Barnabys recently attended the Dalriada festival and staff and management had a great time promoting our restaurant.

A Magic Evening with Adrian Knight
A magical evening with top show man Adrian Knight was great success and as you can see from the pictures every one had a ball ! From Michael Flatley impressionists to men painting the floor it was a fun night!
TOP CELEBRITY CHEF JUST CANT GET ENOUGH OF BARNABYS
Celebrity chef James Martin, presenter and star of BBC’s Saturday Kitchen Live is proving to be part of the new fixtures and fittings at Barnabys Restaurant in Ballyclare, Co. Antrim as he plans his return to popular restaurant in November.
On Wednesday 17th and 18th November, James returned to his favourite Northern Ireland restaurant to present his favourite festive dishes just in time to get you prepared for Christmas. He will be offering you his top tips and cooking some of his mouth watering dishes that will be ideal for your Christmas dinner, tickets sold out at record time!
Barnabys has undergone extensive refurbishment and renovation including a brand new Garden Suite, which is a new “Style Dining” restaurant at the rear of the restaurant, the Garden Suite is surrounded by beautiful gardens and views of a lake and County Antrim countryside.
Barnabys has already achieved an excellent reputation for great food and quality wines that are served to a standard that matches the ambience and surroundings. It prides itself on providing excellent service and attention to detail.
The new Garden Suite opened in October 2010 and with its intimate atmosphere, extensive wine list and fine cuisine, it offers a unique dining experience and has already sold out several weekends since its opening
Dining in the Garden Suite is available on Friday and Saturday evenings only.
With Barnabys being the only restaurant in the province to promote the restaurant through television advertising, extensive radio and press it goes to show how confident the owners are with their new venture.
As James Martin described it as “the best little gem in County Antrim” and with his demonstration in March being a huge success, owner Robert Adamson decided to bring James Martin back for an extra special festive event.
Robert told us “James Martin’s last visit in March was a massive success for Barnaby’s we just had to bring him back!
He fell in love with Barnabys and Northern Ireland and had a great interest in Strangford Lough and just loved being brought to Crossgar’s farm where he got to see their products first hand and he actually brought back some lobster and duck to cook in his Thursday demonstration, James had now become a friend of Barnabys and will of course return next year so keep an eye on Barnabys website for more details of his return.
The event at Barnabys was a great success and has certainly put the great local restaurant on the map and it has now become one of the best restaurants in the province.

Barnabys Restaurant gets a Modern Makeover

Barnabys has been given a complete makeover. Out goes the old wooden panels and dark surroundings, and in come a clean crisp look, with a much brighter ambiance. A new bar and impressive wine display area has been added, and there are now numerous painting by local artist Jim McDonald hung through-out the restaurant. We think you will be impressed.
